AN ANALOGUE MIND IN A DIGITAL WORLD

Equipment List

Here’s a list of our gear at New Cut Studios, starting with all the equipment in our recording facility and proceeding to our instruments and backline. Most of it is available for use as part of any recording session, and can also be rented for band practice in our rehearsal space. Whether you’re looking to hire musical equipment in Bristol for a show, or if you just don’t want to lug your amp or drums down to rehearsals, we can provide pro quality backline and a selection of vintage gear. Maybe you just need cool props for a photo shoot.

It’s a long list so scroll down if you want to see guitars & amps and the like. We also have a big selection of effects pedals that are worth a look. Actually, if its a look you want, you should really head to our Galleries page and go see for yourself. Or get in touch if you want to just come down and try something out.

It’s sonic character is pretty neutral if you don't push it too hard. The colour it does give when driven is very warm and bright. It is a more sophisticated design than the Elite console and has better op-amps in the mic-pre & eq sections. Designed for the film & television industries, primarily for ADR/Foley and broadcast applications it makes the perfect mixer for a DAW based suite that has a wide choice of discrete channel strips & mic-pres. Neotek desks have been the choice of many great artists most notably Steve Albini, Stevie Wonder and Beastie Boys. Our desk previously lived in John Wood's studio.
